Well-known as Maltzín, this beautiful volcano offers unique landscapes as gullies and volcanic ravines that surround the summit. With a height of around 4,440 Mt. (14,600 Ft.), it offers a longer ascent in trees and sand paisages. That’s the reason Malinche, Maltziwhy is an optimal test not only for those people would like to take his first steps in High Mountain but also for those alpinist who want to take an acclimatizing plan to get prepared for higher mountains.
The route towards the summit will be constantly supervised by a guide-instructor, who will supervise you on the correct planning of a Mountain Going out.

Trips

Malinche, Maltzi1. Traditional (1 Day)

We will leave from Mexico City at 6 AM for reach the Malinche. Start to summit al 8:30 AM and reach the top between 1 and 2 PM. Back to Mexico City at 8-9 PM.

2. Prehispanic Ceremony (2 Days)

We will leave from Mexico City the first day at 2 PM for reach the Resort Tierra Verde and have a nahuatl ceremonial with teas & Temascal (Prehispanic Sauna with herbs). The next day we will have a breakfast and translate to the Malinche. Start to summit al 8:30 AM and reach the top between 1 and 2 PM. Back to Mexico City at 8-9 PM.

·     Have legal age and optimal physical training conditions.

·     Filled up request and signed. Good health certification.

·     Payment receipt (inscription quote).

·     Required equipment (see list at the bottom).

* In case of client cancellation there is no cash rebound (just vaucher).

This comprehensive travel insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, travel delays, loss of baggage and travel documents, baggage delays, medical expenses, and emergency assistance.

 

Equipment Required (In good conditions)

·     Clothes: Windshield jacket and trousers (Gore-tex), 2 polars or fleeces, gloves (more replacing), thermal cap, socks (more replacing).

·      Mountain boots.

·      Sun block (protection 50 minimum) and glasses 100% UV.
