Climb in Peña de Bernal

This is the bigger monolith in México and the third in the World. It is a limestone block with reflections between white and pink, which looks very like the color of the Italian Dolomites. Many tourists come to this very attracted by the impact of its size but for its difficult access, can only reach the chapel, to the base of the wall, making them lose the incredible panoramic view from its summit offering, after an adventure and fun climbing. The weather is almost always excellent.

 

ROUTES

1. Bernalina (5.9, 300 Mt.)

On the easiest climbing route that requires excellent knowledge and skills of climbing, as the land of adventure requires an experienced evaluation capacity on the quality of the stone and the direction you travel. Through 6 pitch, with good anchorages (if somewhat distant), the summit will be won by the central spur of the monolith. The descent is made in abseiling.
BEGINNERS / ADVANCED

1. Día del padre (5.10b, 300 Mt.)

To the right of Bernalina, in the same vertical, the wall is a route with a difficult crossing in half the first pitches. Generally has a good rocks. Share the last long with Bernalina. The descent is made in abseiling.

Climb in Mineral del Chico

National Park Mineral del Chico is the place were born in Mexico the adventure climbing as there are numerous rocks immersed in one of the most beautiful forests throughout the Republic. Each escalation is usually very funny, emphasizing classic itineraries in areas usually not very well equipped and arenaria and conglomerate rock, quite sensitive, requiring very high skills. The weather, often quite cold, the shifts in alpine climbing characteristics.

 

ROUTE

1. Fistol del Diablo (5.9, 70 Mt.)

It is the first route to be climbed in this area (and probably also in Mexico) and consists of a vertical ascent of three pitches by logical steps to reach the summit: a really flight table, little more than a square meter. The descent is made with a double rappel.
BEGINNERS / ADVANCED

2. Ventana Mayor, North face (5.10a, 120 Mt.)

The long route is best known in the area, with four long, reaching the summit of 3,000 m, which is the highest point of the entire park. The ascent is very funny, climbing the crest with lots of laps (typical of the classic climbing) but precarious and remote anchorages. The descent is done with a rappelling and then walking.
ADVANCED / EXPERT

 

Climb in Potrero Chico

It is an area with huge limestone mountains very young, which offer incredible quality climbing, and well known by climbers worldwide who consider this area one of the world's climbing meccas. Equipped since the late 70s' by American climbers, the assembly of the routes is excellent ... with good material, optimum lines and, above all, economically. The routes are generally very clean and very long, ideal for those experienced climbers who want to enjoy one or more days of climbing, before leaving for the summit!
 

ROUTE

1. Yankee Clipper (5.10a, 400 Mt.)

Climbing long and great, predominantly in grades easy but sometimes highly technical steps in plates without grips. Abseils of multipitch.
ADVANCED / EXPERT

2. Estrellita (5.10b, 800 Mt.) Big Wall

It is predominantly an escalation in dihedral, very technical and very long. It is very fun but needs a proper resistance training. Abseils of multipitch.

Policy and Inscription

You must deliver the following documents with a month of anticipation*:

·     Have legal age and optimal physical training conditions.

·     Filled up request and signed. Good health certification.

·     Payment receipt (inscription quote).

·     Required equipment (see list at the bottom).

* In case of client cancellation there is no cash rebound (just vaucher).

Equipment Required (In good conditions)

·     Clothes: Windshield jacket and trousers (Gore tex), 2 polars or fleeces, gloves (more replacing), thermal cap, socks (more replacing).

·      In order to camp: Sleeping bag, long cushion and frontal lamp.

·      Sun block (protection 50 minimum) and glasses 100% UV.
